Chris Richards-Scully is an accomplished film Director with a passion for real, cut-through acting performances and cinematic visual style.

Chris is a Directing graduate of the prestigious Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS).  His drama work has attracted international attention, with his short films winning awards and screening at International film festivals including the Palm Springs International Short Film Festival.
Chris is known for achieving honest and powerful performances, cinematic vision and for his emotive use of music.  He has worked with some of Australia’s brightest young actors including Dustin Clare (Spartacus: Gods of the Arena) and Clarke Richards (2010 Tropfest ‘Best Actor’).  He continues to build on his already impressive body of work.  

Chris served his directing apprenticeship under Little Fish and The Boys director Rowan Woods on the set of the US production Farscape.  
He has also worked in a number of capacities on many feature films and TV series including Parallax and Three Acts of Murder.
 
Chris is considered by many in the Australian film industry as a talented director with a strong voice and visual style, who is on the verge of stepping into the feature film arena.  Chris has also made many TVCs and will add a unique, cut-through style to your next production.
