Mark Zagar ACS
Mark’s experience spans over 20 large-budget Feature Films in North America and Australia. In recent years, he was Director/Director of Photography 2nd Unit on the highly successful Feature Films "Red Dog" and "Drift". His ability to tell stories through the language of film and his eye for composition has earned him multiple film industry awards, plus a swag of advertising awards. These include Best Director and Best of Show at the Perth Advertising & Design Club Awards, Best TV Campaign at the Campaign Brief Awards, and Finalist at the prestigious Cannes Lions and U.S. Clio Awards. As Cinematographer Mark has received 12 Awards from the Australian Cinematographers’ Society, received the Association's highest honour, official accreditation (the right to use the title ACS) and won 2 x Best Cinematography awards at the WA Screen Awards for dramatic films. Mark’s affable nature, and ability to put actors at ease, makes him a pleasure to work with. With hundreds of quality TV commercials, music clips and corporate videos under his belt, your project will be in safe hands with Mark behind the camera.
